Comprehensive Wound Assessment & Wound Hygiene:
Will cover all of the principles that affect wound healing, management of biofilm, case studies, and end with a product review (dressings explained by their functional category differences). An opportunity for hands-on experience with wound care products on AHS formulary included.
Ostomy Basics:
This session will take us through the basics of ostomy care, looking specifically at the pouching options available including accessory products and problem solving techniques. A review of wellness support programs available to anyone, as well as ostomy nurses support to healthcare providers. There will be an ostomy product demonstration, and answering attendees questions.
