Comprehensive Wound Assessment: Successful wound care is dependent not only on local care of the wound, but also understanding the etiology of the wound, addressing systematic issues, and assessing the whole patient. The session is a foundation of a better understanding of modern, generic & evidence based wound care. Ostomy Basics: This session will take us through the basics of ostomy care, peristomal skin care, review of the barrier & pouching options available including accessory products and Problem Solving Techniques.
